Meets requirements of BS EN124: 1994 (B125). Also meets relevant European and British standards, and comes kitemarked for compliance.

How it works
A suitable frame with any additional cross pieces is fitted to the chamber top. The concrete infill cover(s) are then placed carefully into the frame. Removal requires just one person and the relevant lifting / locking key. Our cover leaves are tapered and feature lifting points in the centre - not the corner - of the cover. This allows one person to safely lift and slide the cover out.

Available sizes
Concrete infill covers are available in various standard sizes, with bespoke options available too. By using cross-beams and cross-pieces, you can create multi-cover units tailored to your application.
Load rating
Concrete infill covers are suitable for installation in environments rated to B125 under EN124. Ideal for footways, pedestrian areas and comparable areas, car parks or parking decks.
Materials
Frames, covers, and cross pieces are manufactured from rolled steel section in compliance with BS1449 and galvanised in compliance with BS EN ISO 1461. Individual covers are filled with concrete.

Customer badging
Bespoke customer details can be included in the access cover badge for identification and awareness. Contact the Cubis Systems team to request badge branding on your order.
Locking arrangements
Covers can be fitted with a bolt-down locking system to deter vandalism. Standard keys are also available as well as flat head, penta head, offset circle and snake eye arrangements.
Frames
Concrete infill access covers can be supplied with a number of frame options, including: raising, BLOK adjust, high-top, composite.
Sub-security plate
Works as a secondary cover that provides an additional layer of protection for below-ground infrastructure in high-risk or sensitive locations.
Bespoke keys
Locking keys can also be adapted to suit the end user’s needs. Contact us to discuss any specialist needs - we're happy to work under NDA for sensitive projects.

What information is needed to request a bespoke cover arrangement?
Provide the clear opening size, overall frame dimensions where known, loading requirement, proposed location and any security or badging requirements. Drawings or chamber details will help confirm the correct configuration before manufacture.

Can concrete infill covers be used with larger chambers?
Yes. Multi-cover configurations can be specified using cross-beams and cross-pieces, allowing the cover arrangement to match larger or non-standard chamber openings.

Can I install concrete infill covers on top of any access chamber?
Any STAKKAbox™ access chamber from Cubis Systems, yes. It's worth noting that all our chambers and covers are designed, supplied and rigorously tested as a complete system. So, our STAKKAbox™ chambers and access covers should always be paired together for assured performance and load-rating validation.
