Supporting our people through life’s milestones
Introducing new family-friendly policies
Balancing work and family life can often feel difficult — especially during life’s most significant transitions. At Cubis Systems, one key goal as an employer is to help make navigating those challenges that bit easier.
With that in mind, we’re proud to introduce a brand new Family Planning & Fertility Policy, alongside enhancements to our existing Family Friendly Policy.
Importantly, these updates aren’t just a footnote in our employment contracts – they’re a real reflection of culture here at Cubis. Here’s a closer look.

A new chapter: family planning & fertility support
For many, the path to parenthood involves fertility treatment or family planning. These journeys can be emotionally and physically taxing, as well as financially burdensome.
So, to support our colleagues through this important chapter, we’ve launched a dedicated Family Planning & Fertility Policy.
By recognising the realities of modern family planning, we’re proud to offer meaningful support when it matters most. So, what does this brand new policy offer?
-
Right to time off work
10 days’ paid leave for eligible employees, and 3 days’ paid leave for eligible employees with partners undergoing fertility treatment. (Within a 2-year period.)
-
Workplace adjustments
Including discrimination protection, changing work schedules, travel requirement revisions, private spaces, and more.
-
Workplace support
Including access to well-being support via Employee Assistance Programs, tailored education and awareness workshops, and more.

Enhanced family friendly benefits
We’ve also enhanced our Family Friendly Policy to better support new parents. These changes include increased company payments for:
-
Maternity
Now offering 12 weeks of full pay, 14 weeks of half pay, and 13 weeks of statutory adoption pay.
-
Paternity
Now offering 2 weeks of full pay, and a 1 week phased return (working 50% of contracted hours with 100% full pay).
-
Adoption leave
Now offering 12 weeks of full pay, 14 weeks of half pay, and 13 weeks of statutory adoption pay.
With these enhanced payments, we can help reduce the financial stress of new parenthood and allow our people to focus on bonding with their growing families.

Happening here and now
- These policies are effective immediately, as of April 2025
- We’ve rolled out not only across Cubis Systems, but also across our sister IPE companies FILOform and NAL
- Policies differ slightly based on location. (E.g., enhanced Family Friendly Policy is specific to UK and Ireland - EU sites have different arrangements for Maternity and Paternity.) Full details are laid out in our employment documentation.
Wrapped within a comprehensive benefits package
These new and enhanced policies complement the existing benefits that make us a great place to work. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and development of our employees, including:
-
Pension scheme: Helping you plan for a secure financial future
-
Health insurance and retail perks: Access to health coverage and discounts on various retail services

These new policy changes are just one part of that ongoing commitment.” Rebecca Magee, Senior HR Manager
