CityFibre Choose Cubis STAKKAbox™ chambers to help transform connectivity in Aberdeen

CityFibre is one of the UK’s largest digital infrastructure platforms, with networks in over 60 towns and cities providing wholesale connectivity to multiple business, consumer service providers, local authorities and mobile operates.

As the first city in Scotland to benefit from CityFibre’s Gigabit-capable full-fibre broadband network, Aberdeen recently saw a further £40 million telecom infrastructure investment across the city bringing broadband services to customers of up to 1000mphs.

Speed of building this infrastructure and long term network reliability were key requirements of the project and Cubis’ STAKKAbox™ Fortress, ULTIMA and Modula chamber systems delivered the perfect chamber solutions for CityFibre.

The access systems where completed with the addition of Cubis’ B125 AX-S™ Concrete infill covers. Cubis’ X-TRAS™ accessories provided safe entry and management of cables within the chamber itself.
