In partnership with Invest Northern Ireland Cubis Systems are seeking to appoint a Graduate to their Graduate to Export Programme.  Based at our Lurgan site, initially, the successful candidate will work to form the basis for directing and measuring the activities of the French sales team and will form a key part of our market development activities for the next 5 years. Reporting to the Director of Marketing their key responsibilities will include:

  • High level market research – market sizing analysis
  • Competitor and pricing analysis
  • Understanding key market drivers and dynamics
  • Identification of key network owners and operators
  • Key project identification by region
  • Specifier identification - exploring what engineering design clients are involved in the sector
  • Contractor analysis – establishment of contractor pyramid by sector
  • Review of marketing materials and messaging and the tailoring of our materials to the sector audience

Location: Stoke

Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful candidate will manage and oversee maintenance, site services and related activities across the GB sites. Based at one of our Stoke sites their key responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage maintenance activity and maintenance operatives across four sites, ensuring optimum asset and site performance, minimising downtime of key plant and equipment and upkeeping of buildings, infrastructure and offices
  • Oversee outsourced engineering and maintenance activities and contractors
  • Facilitate response to emergency and maintenance activities and contractors
  • Facilitate response to emergency maintenance / repair calls
  • Lead plant maintenance improvement projects to reduce overall costs, linking the Performance and Production teams.
  • Drive site operational effectiveness by increased mean time between failure and unplanned downtime reduction
  • Ensure all assets, plant and machinery are compliant from a health, safety and environment legislative view
  • Implement, manage and develop the Agility software platform and PPM schedule across all sites. Communicate plans to production and planning functions to ensure minimal disruption
  • Manage and support the Capex projects to ensure charters and milestones are issued and controlled
  • Creating annual budgets and monitoring and controlling all maintenance and facilities related spend
  • Strategic planning and budgeting of the maintenance function to drive innovation and change

  • Strategic planning for the integration of new businesses into the group
  • Developing and controlling site management plans and RAMS as required
  • Leading in accident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Liaising with company and group stakeholders on key H&S items
  • Managing and reviewing the Health and Safety  program submissions
  • Preparation and development of Health and Safety Project Management, Gantt Chart and Gateway Reviews
  • Ownership of ensuring conformance to the  CRH 16 Life Saving Rules and  compliance with all relevant legal requirements
  • Execution of the internal and external CRH audit process
