Reporting to the Technical Manager the successful candidate will be based at Lurgan and provide engineering support on product testing, structural calculations and site installation guidance and be responsible for:

  • Compiling product specification sheets, managing testing programmes
  • Developing test methods and operating procedures
  • Attending client meetings with the Business Development team
  • Resolving technical calls from customers
  • Correlating test results against real life product performance and working with the technical team on predictive modelling
  • Being a key contact for external testing bodies
  • Compiling installation guidelines and assisting with new product trials
  •  Advising on installation procedures
  • Providing structural calculations for product validation

Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful candidate will lead an engineering team to develop and deliver preventative maintenance programmes within budget and to planned  timeframes whilst minimising downtime. This position will be based at Stoke-on-Trent and be responsible for:

  • Regularly reporting on project status via Gateway and Gantt charts
  • Setting, communicating and managing project team deadlines
  • Costing, quoting and inputting CAPEX program submissions
  • Budgetary control of CAPEX
  • Management of Project Road Map process
  • Submitting CAPEX projects for equipment, machinery, facilities and upgrades
  • Refurbishment, moving and installation of equipment, as required

  • Providing Health and Safety advice, information and instruction on location, as required
  • Reviewing, modifying and creating Risk Assessment, Works Instruction, and Training leaflets
  • Investigating and reporting on incidents, injuries and hazards and implementing control measures
  • Working on existing, and developing new, safety improvement projects across all sites
  • Carrying out audits at all sites
