The passing of our friend and colleague John Harrison

It is with deepest regret today we announce the passing of our much respected colleague and dear friend John Harrison who sadly passed away this week.

John who worked as a Sales Engineer operating within our rail market made an immense contribution during the two and a half years that he worked for Cubis and as news of John's death has filtered out, the many messages of sympathy which have been received from throughout the industry are just one indication of the esteem in which he was held.

The wider Cubis family will miss John greatly, Β but clearly nobody will miss him as much as his two young sons. With this in mind his colleagues have set up a Just Giving page which will allow anyone who wishes, to make a donation which will be held for the benefit of his sons.

If you would like to make a contribution the webpage can be accessed atΒ https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/in-memory-of-john-harrison

Β An admirable character with a massive heart, rest in peace John.

Paul, Luke and myself are devastated over the loss of such a fun, loving, caring man. Football was his life and watching his boy's play football made him happy. Paul & Luke will miss the car sharing buddies that you all were, travelling up and down the country to watch your boy play for Mansfield Town Footvall Club. You was the heart & sole to this team, as a football parent, dad, linesman & friend. Your sons will do you proud through making football their true passion. God bless you John πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ’›

They say there is a reason they say that time will heal , but neither time nor reason will change the way we feel. For no one knows the heartache, that lies behind our smiles , no one knows how many times we have broken down and cried. We want to tell you something so there won't be any doubt, your so wonderful to think of but so hard to live without πŸ’” 😘

The better and more peaceful world Chernyaev sought may seem as far away as ever, but his intellectual and moral legacy lives on.
